70 years of marriage

Jean-Paul Labrecque and Rollande Roy, From Lévis, celebrated their platinum wedding last week. The couple, now nonagenarian, married on June 18, 1955, at the church of Saint-Raphaël Bellechasse. Four children were born from this union, while, since then, 10 grandchildren and as many great grandchildren have been added to this beautiful large family.

Thérèse Plant et Jacques Paquet (Photos), from the Charlesbourg district in Quebec, will celebrate their 65 this weeke wedding anniversary. The couple had indeed said “yes” before God, their families and friends, on June 25, 1960, at the parish church of Saint-Malo. Both from Quebec, they have long lived in Lac-Saint-Charles, where they raised their two children, Martine and Patrick. It is surrounded by their children, spouses, joint and grandchildren that they will celebrate this anniversary on Wednesday. Congratulations to both of you.
