A Montrealer who had helped her friend hide the body of a man who had been tortured and killing during a consumption evening in Lachine finally confessed her wrongs on Friday, four years after the drama.

The head is a little “yes” that Tara Kusic pleaded guilty of complicity after the fact on Friday, at the Montreal courthouse.

That evening, a group of friends had gathered at Véronique Manceaux, a friend of the accused. With other people, the group had consumed drugs. At one point, Manceaux began to believe that Mr. Methot was a spy in the pay of an ex-groove.

“It made no sense,” said Kusic during his friend’s trial.

A “last meal”

Except that Manceaux was convinced of her idea and she began to take part in the victim. The argument then transported to the kitchen.

“People could hear Véronique Manceaux cry about the victim and all of a sudden, there was a big noise,” says the summary of the facts. When they left the kitchen, the victim was bloody, injured in the neck, looking confused. ”

Manceaux then offered a “last meal” to his victim, or from the frozen chicken pâté, while the latter begged her to have a life saved.

M. Méthot was then forced to swallow flammable liquid. Already seriously injured, he finally returned the soul. But even if Kusic was terrified, and even if she then kissing the man who had just been “massacred”, the woman then helped the murderers to move Mr. Méthot in the garage.

Kusic, for his part, was not accused of murder, since she did not participate in the crime. But his gestures, afterwards, earned him to be accused.

Now that she has recognized her complicity after the facts, Kusic will have to meet experts who will try to understand what prompted her to help the murderers.

She will return to the Court in January for the pleadings on the penalty to impose on her.
