Donald Trump announced Friday on his social social network that his “long-awaited meeting” with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin would take place on August 15 in the American state of Alaska (northwest).
The American president, who has repeatedly promised to put an end to the war in Ukraine, spoke several times on the phone with the Russian president in recent months, but has not seen him in person since his return to the White House.
