Two itinerants who would have insulted an unknown without apparent reason would have been beaten up and stabbed in the street, late Monday, in the southwest district in Montreal on Monday.
The assault of great violence occurred around 11 a.m. on the sidewalk of Avenue Atwater, at the intersection of rue Delisle.

According to witnesses encountered on the spot, the suspect in this case simply walked on the sidewalk and crossed the path of two homeless, who were inside a bus shelter.

“I don’t know what they told him, but the guy stopped, he turned around and he went to tell them not to start again. But the guys started again and even started to follow him, “said a direct witness to the assault.
The suspect in this case would then have gone from speech to acts. “He started giving Taloches to the two guys,” said the witness, who preferred to silence his identity.

One of the victims then went to snatch the work helmet from a foreman from the city of Montreal which was at the intersection by chance to use it as a weapon.
Finally, the two itinerants aged 35 and 48 have suffered significant head injuries, probably caused by a stabbing weapon.

One of them would be in a more serious state.
The suspect was not injured and was arrested near the assault.
The 23 -year -old was taken to the investigation center, where he was to be questioned by the investigators.
