Ultrahuman adds advanced follow -up of the cycle and ovulation to its …

Ultrahuman Ring Air users benefit from new advanced methods to follow their menstrual cycle. The connected ring brand launched cycle and ovulation pro Friday. The paying subscription offers users with irregular cycles a more precise cycle monitoring tool. The pro version is an extension of the ultrahuman cycle and ovulation charger, free for all Ring Air users.

This feature displays an accuracy of more than 90 %, validated by a standard analysis of equivalence tests. The tool supports fertility planning according to a wide range of types of cycles and is reinforced by precise confirmation of ovulation. Cycle and ovulation pro can detect cycle variations thanks to its temperature detection technology, allowing users to follow their symptoms through a marking mechanism to obtain more precise information.

To acquire the functionalities of cycle and ovulation pro, Ultrahuman has acquired Vio Healthtech, a brand of technology for women’s health and ovusense manufacturer, a fertility and cycle instructor. Ultrahuman uses the ovusense temperature detection algorithm in its new fertility feature.

Ovusense is designed for people with sopk, thyroid disorders, endometriosis or whose rules do not follow the 28 -day conventional calendar. According to the Ovusense website, the device measures the user’s body temperature continuously overnight with an accuracy of 0.003 ° C. This approach allows the ovusense device to filter data and confirm ovulation with 99 %precision.

Non -invasive technology

The original ovusense device worked by vaginal insertion every night to monitor fertility. Ultrahuman has bypassed this invasive process thanks to the temperature detection capacities of its ultrahuman Ring Air. Ovusense is drawn into a set of data of more than 260,000 cycles, according to the ultrahuman press release, and validated in 13 medical publications evaluated by peers.

The algorithm uses the temperature data collected by the connected ring to understand and predict the variability of the cycle. Information includes information on the time of ovulation, the luteal phase, the lack of ovulation and the trends linked to the sopk or the risk of miscarriage, indicates ultrahuman.

This announcement comes a few days after Ourra, its main competitor, revealed its own features for monitoring the female cycle. Oura’s features are more focused on monitoring pregnancy and menopause.

For those who wish to test cycle and ovulation pro, this feature is available in the United States, the United Kingdom, EU, Australia and Canada.
