Bruno Retailleau also wishes to strengthen sanctions towards those who use mortars. “At the start of the school year, we will present a law so that the sale of pyrotechnic devices to non-professional is punished by one year of imprisonment, or even three years if the product has been sold to a minor or by means of an electronic communication service,” he said. This measure should be accompanied by better control of sales on the Internet thanks to the blockages of illegal sales sites of these fireworks.
