Vevey ignites for Euro 2025 with a free fan zone
From July 2 to 27, the quay lost will vibrate to the rhythm of the female euro. The opportunity to follow the three matches of the Nati.
Vevey will host a free fan zone during the Women’s Football Euro in July, as the city announces in a statement published this Wednesday. The event will be held on the Quai Perdonnet 1, by the lake, from July 2 to 27, and will broadcast all the matches of the tournament on a giant screen.
The city of Vevey, by its sport sector, is associated with the BTC-Breg the Crowd association to create this festive meeting place. The objective is to promote female sport, to promote exchanges between generations and to convey the values of fair play and inclusion.
A varied program for all ages
Beyond retransmissions, the fan zone will offer sports, cultural and fun activities daily. Catering stands will be installed on site and local associations will lead supervised activities and participatory initiations. Entrance will be free for all events.
Supporters will notably be able to follow the three group matches of the Swiss team. The Nati will face Norway on July 2 at 9 p.m., Iceland on July 6 at 9 p.m. and Finland on July 10 at 9 p.m. After eight editions linked to male tournaments, the municipality claims to want to support female sport and continue to offer free and unifying events for the Veveysanne population.
