- The shooting affair between Hells Angels and Bandidos will be tried soon.

- Police seized more than 100 grams of ecstasy in their home.
- The judges reject his request for liberation despite his promises of amendment.
At the end of June 2025, the public prosecutor announced the referral of the shooting case between the rival biker bands Hells Angels and Bandidos, which occurred in 2022. The trial should take place in the coming months before the criminal court. As we revealed, last year and in January 2025one of the bandidos, freely released in August 2023, had aggravated his case by threatening a police officer, according to the public prosecutorand after holding weapons and drugs at home.
“Public security prevails”
Justice has just refused its recent provisional release request this month, the “Tribune de Genève” learned. In the judgment of the criminal chamber (CPR) that we have consulted, the judges consider that “the interest in public security therefore prevails over the personal freedom of the accused”.
The latter, who will be tried in particular for the shooting in a bistro of Plainpalais, but also for a murder in France neighboring in 2019, sees his prolonged pre -trial detention until September 30: “He was arrested three times, in 2019, 2022 and 2024, within the framework of three procedures, now joined and for which he has just been referred to extremely serious.”
The judgment of the CPR of July 8 details the last gram of the last alleged facts. The man owned ketamine in 2024. The same year, three times, “but at the very least on September 11”, he would have sold this type of narcotics to C., or 7 grams in exchange for 34 francs. On December 19, 2024, at his home, the police, who came to arrest him, seized 109.8 grams of Ecstasy pills and 23.5 grams of cocaine “drugs at least largely intended for sale”.
Investigators also kidnapped ammunition as well as two American fists and a butterfly knife, prohibited weapons.
Prohibition to arm
However, as it was meant to him during his previous release, he could not “acquire, hold and/or carry any weapon as well as carry on any dangerous knife or other object”.
Last month, the Bandidos requested its provisional release by in particular offering a deposit of 30,000 francs and ensuring that it would take care of its addiction problems.
The prosecution and the tribunal of constraint measures being opposed to his request, the detainee seized the CPR. For this body, the presence of weapons at his home contradicted his version of the facts, “according to which the weapons in question were only” decorative “and attests, at least at this stage, the potential danger of the behavior in question, the latter having, moreover, made any provision to get rid of it despite the commitment announced in 2022 to no longer hold arms”.
In his request, the defendant says they wish to make a new start, move away from his old frequentations, no longer consume drugs. He claims to have undertaken treatment for his attention disorder (ADHD), notes the CPR, and no longer consume drugs since then, in order to keep his car license and find a job.
Arguments of the swept bandidos
“If this displayed will appears to be commendable, it is not sufficient to lessen the risk of recurrence of new offenses […]. There is […] A risk of recurrence […] that the proposed substitution measures are not able to overcome. The job offers produced from private companies do not constitute firm and unconditional commitments. ” The same goes for the certificate of a loved one, who says he is ready to give him work at his release from prison.
The Bandidos swears his great gods that he will not wear the colors of the Bandidos and will stop frequenting the two biker bands. But for the CPR, these promises would only be based on “the only will of the person concerned, difficult to verify, and are therefore insufficient”.
What about medical monitoring linked to addictions? “It is unknown what type of treatment he would consider, with whom and how often he would submit to it. Even if this information would be provided, it will be noted that it is not accused of simple acts of consumption but for having made it to a drug trafficking. However, we do not see how a treatment aimed at treating his dependence would prevent him from pursuing criminal activities. ”
