There is no small victory in a war. And Ukraine can boast of having signed several in a weekend. Ukrainian intelligence services have communicated on many successes during operations carried out on Russian territory since Friday.
The most important symbol: the Ukrainian forces ensure that they have touched “a strategic target” with a radio and electronic warfare equipment, located in the Stavropol region, 540 km in bird flight from the front.
“Interrupt the production process”
According to a head of the Ukrainian security service SBU with Reuters, two factory facilities have been damaged. Online videos have shown an explosion and a large column of black smoke rising in the sky.
This site was one of the main producers of radars, radionavigation equipment and radio remote control equipment from the Russian army.

Another affected strategic target: Rosaviatsia airport, an airport serving the city of Volgograd. The Russian civil aviation authority said it had to close an airport following an attack on Ukrainian drones. Another airport disrupted by these attacks, that of the Poulkovo airport in Saint Petersburg where dozens of flights have been delayed, according to airport authorities.
kyiv air strikes also affected a rail power supply line in the Volgograd region, the administration of this region in southern Russia announced on Sunday. The Ukrainian army also targeted the Russian capital again, according to the mayor Sergei Sobianine, without specifying the damage.
“Air defense systems have shot two guided air bombs and three projectiles of multiple rocket launch systems,” said the Ministry of Defense on its Telegram channel. 291 drones were intercepted on the night of Saturday to Sunday, one of the highest figures in recent weeks.
A Russian SA-27 Saboté
In addition to going through the sky, kyiv claimed success on the ground with the neutralization of a high ranking of the Russian army. Khortytsia’s operational and strategic group confirmed that it has “successfully neutralized” Colonel Lebedev, commander of the 83rd Russian motorized rifle regiment in the Velykoburluk sector. The latter “supervised assault operations in the region before being eliminated”.
Ukraine can also count on “its resistant forces”, as it calls them. These “saboters” would have destroyed “a fighter training airplane in the Su-27UB combat” on the Armavir aerodrome, in the territory of Krasnodar.
The military air base and the planes based there are mainly used for the training of cadets of the School of Military Aviation of Krasnodar pilots.
