The Swiss delegation won two gold medals on Monday at World Games in Chengdu, China. The Swiss won the rope and sprints by team shooting in orienteering.

The rope team, made up of Elena Beier, Melanie Villiger, Carmen Rolli, Nina Widmer, Robin Burch, Ivo Lustenberger as well as Jeremiias and Emanuel Zumbühl, enjoyed the most beautiful metals after his victory against Belgium in the final. A previous duel between the two nations had ended in a match in the group phase.
The last orienteering race, the team sprint, also smiled at the Swiss mixed team. Natalia Gemperle, Riccardo Rancan, Tino Polsini and Simona Aebersold, already sacred twice in individual (sprint and medium distance), have ahead of Sweden and Czechia.
With six gold medals and three silver, Switzerland now occupies sixth place in the World Games medals. This major multisport event of non -Olympic summer disciplines takes place until August 17.
