A young person lost a tooth, during an altercation with five police officers who controlled him in 2021. Justice considers that they did not make excessive use of force.

The facts date back to August 2021, when the police had checked four young people in the Wiedikon district. One of them had laughed, “apparently because of the acute voice” of an agent, which would have caused a violent chain reaction.
A acquittal in the teeth
According to the indictment, one of the police tried to hit one of them with the knee, before placing it on the ground, causing a shock to the head against the asphalt. The young person lost a tooth in the fire of the action. According to the prosecution, other violence would have taken place during the excavation and registration at the post. This is why the prosecutor had required suspended financial penalties against the five agents.
The court finally estimated, based on the available videos, that no excessive violence was demonstrated either at the time of the arrest or the police station. In addition to having lost his tooth, the young man, now 20 years old, has also lost justice. His lawyer announced that he would appeal the judgment.
