Powerful thunderstorm cells fell on the department, and more particularly in North-Isère, in the evening on Monday, June 30. Very localized thunderstorms have caused tree falls, causing road cuts like in Nivolas-Vermelle. On the edge of the RD1085, the roofs of five houses were damaged, around 10 p.m., by a gale. Trees have been torn off, damaging power and telephone lines.

The firefighters, with the help of an aerial scale, had a lot to do to secure houses, their roofs or the antennas threatening to fall. A tree went to five parking cars. No victim is to be deplored.
While the sky was zebra with lightning, lightning fell on a Dauphinoise building in the village of Belmont. The roof has ignited, the firefighters intervened while the occupants have or find some comfort in neighbors.
