An unusual collision occurred in the morning on Wednesday, while a vehicle struck the facade of a Talow-Tard trade located on Boulevard Bastien, near Boulevard de la Colline, in the district of Rivers, in Quebec.
According to first information, an elderly person has lost control of his vehicle for a still unknown reason, ending his race directly in the shop window. The vehicle found itself partly inside the building.
Firefighters from the Quebec Fire Protection Service were called to the scene in order to assess the integrity of the structure. Fortunately, after inspection, the structure of the building would not have been compromised.
The driver, an elderly person, would not have suffered a significant injury and no customer or business employee was injured in the incident.
The Layer-Tard trade has undergone significant material damage to its facade and its interior design.
