Robin Donzé aims for a medal at the Swiss Hopes Championships

Only Jurassic at the start, the Franc-Montagard Robin Donzé (Tudor) hopes to be able to take advantage of the arrival deemed in the coast to win a medal.
With around thirty elements, the Swiss delegation will have to be wary of Austrian or German training which counts in their ranks a large number of runners. Although each nation runs for its national hope title, there will inevitably be a race in the race so as not to miss the right group, as explained by the member of the Franches-Montagnes bicycle. “We will have to be attentive to the race movements. If a large group leaves with a Swiss representative and there are also the best Germans at the front, their teams will no longer roll and the race can quickly be finished.”
On two tables
In addition, there are team strategies that have victory candidates in several countries, as is the case for the training of the Jurassic Tudor. “We are going to try to bring the title for Switzerland and for Luxembourg. Playing on two paintings is not easy, but that is really the objective of our team,” announces the citizen of Saiglégier.
In Austria, the circuit offers a 31 km route to travel five times. A beautiful bump of 300 m ascent punctuates the initial loop before the runners borrow the final ascent of 250 m of elevation for a cumulative distance of 157 km and 1800 m of elevation. “The route is easier than what I thought when reading the roadbook. Especially since after the bump, there are more than 20 km of plain in false descending flat. If I am still in the blow, it is on the final ascent that it will be necessary to be still fresh and explosive,” warns the young man of 21 years.
Absent in 2024, 3e in 2023 and 13e In 2022, the Jurassian claims to be still in excellent form after the Giro Hopes and the Swiss elite championships last weekend when he finished 20ebeing at the service of the team and Marc Hirschi. “I feel really good. But as always on a one -day race, it’s a bit of a lottery so we’ll see.”
Note that Victor Benareau, his teammate, decided to ignore this event to continue his preparation for the European track championships, from July 15 to 20 in Anadia (Portugal).
