A woman killed by her husband under the eyes of the four children. A 37 -year -old mother was found dead at her home on Sunday, June 29, around 8:30 p.m.
Upon arrival of the rescuers, rue Louis-Valayer in Avignon, the injuries caused by an iron bar and white weapons, were so important that the firefighters did not manage to resuscitate the mother.
Horror in horror
This feminicide took place in front of the couple’s four children, aged 18, 16, 12 and 7 years old. One of the four children, a 16 -year -old teenager, was injured in the stabbing arm, suggesting that the latter tried to intervene, the young woman had to be transported to the emergency room. The other three children were taken care of by the psychological cell.
An investigation was opened to determine the origin of the feminicide. The death of this Avignon mother has brought to 78, the number of feminicides since the beginning of the year, according to the collective WeToutes.org.
In total, seven firefighters were mobilized for this intervention.
