This Saturday, July 19, a vehicle violently struck a pedestrian group on Santa Monica Boulevard, a highly frequented axis of East Hollywood in Los Angeles. City firefighters were quickly deployed on the spot and drew up a worrying first: at least twenty people were injured.
“Four to five are at least critical in a state, eight to ten in a serious state, ten to fifteen in an average state,” the emergency services said.

The causes of the accident always unknown
For the time being, it is not known whether the collision is of accidental or intentional origin. An investigation has been opened and the authorities examine the surveillance images as well as the testimonies collected at the scene of the drama.
The emergency services and the police ask the inhabitants to avoid the area for the time of the intervention and the investigation. No arrest has yet been confirmed at this stage.
