A man discovers his wife, goalkeeper in Lantin prison, in bed with … an inmate: “He was in exit permission”

While returning from work earlier, the husband of a goalkeeper from Lantin prison, surprises her in bed with a lover, who is none other than a prison inmate, in permission to leave. A order measurement was taken against her: she can no longer set foot in Lantin until the end of the disciplinary procedure.

A goalkeeper from Lantin prison, aged in his thirties, was prohibited access to prison at the start of the week, said Sudinfo. Indeed, the prison management issued a measure against him, after the goalkeeper was found in bed … with an inmate.

“As in a bad Vaudeville, the companion found his wife in bed with his lover, an inmate who was on exit permission or on penitentiary leave. The blurred companion then denounced the facts to the management of the Lantin prison which took the usual measures in this kind of embarrassing case, “said a member of the prison staff to our colleagues from Sudinfo.

The red line

Penitentiary agents have the right to their privacy. However, a clear red line was crossed in this case, written Sudinfo. It is for this reason that the prison management ordered a measure prohibiting the goalkeeper from setting a foothold in her workplace until further notice. Disciplinary procedure would be underway.

This is not the first time that a goalkeeper has been accused of having a relationship with an inmate in Belgium. Two years ago, in September 2023, Andenne prison faced the same scandal: a prison agent was suspected of having had relations with one of the detainees.

The prison management did not wish to react on this file.
