She had not taken place for more than 20 years and she returned, Saturday June 14 on the town hall square and the entrance to the basketry school: the book festival.
The cultural event was organized by the Council of Seniors in collaboration with the Oseraie and Access, the Media Library at the whim of Vans, the Departmental Media Library of Haute-Marne, the local bookist and the community of communes of know-how.
The day was rich in literary meetings, in particular thanks to the novelists, authors and local writers present that day. But it was also rich in entertainment.
And to start well, the dictation not of pivot but of Laurence Brésard, teacher in the primary gathered fifteen studious adults … or not! Having chosen as “a literary getaway”, the mistress was very generous in clues: punctuation, intonation, agreements, links, the participants were able to play the game.
On the stand stand, it was possible to lend yourself to a manual workshop, consisting in recycling old books to make them in particular decorative hedgeal.
And for still others, they waited for the beginning of the afternoon to attend the literary nap show proposed by the history deliverers, association of Haute-Saône. What could be better than lounging in the shade in a deckchair, listening to stories.
Visitors were also able to push the doors of the media library, discover the exhibition of photos, work on college students and high school students, but also inaugurate the book boxes which will then be available in the town. It will be possible to get a book there and drop off to feed these spaces and make happy readers.
A real beautiful cultural moment that brought together generations on this summer day.
Véronique Michel, departmental councilor, called this day “beautiful meeting for a good cause that reading, which does good and in addition, here, in a magnificent setting”.
