Casio announced the details of the launch in the United Kingdom of the EFK-100des eDifhese series, very first mechanical watches. These timepieces are already available in pre-orders in Japan and should be launched in the United States in the near future.
Today, registrations on the Casio British website indicate that the EFK-100D-2A (Blue Dial) and EFK-100D-3A (Green Dial) models will be sold on this £ 269 market. The EFK-100CD-1aqui watch has a black carbon dial, will be slightly more expensive, at 289 pounds sterling. According to the product pages, these watches will be sold in August 2025, customers being invited to register to receive a notification by email when they launch.
Casio Edifice EFK-100D and EFK-100CD watches are supposed to draw inspiration from “high performance” sports cars. They both have a mechanical movement with a 40 -hour power reserve and an average daily rate of -35 to +45 seconds. The movement is visible through the transparent background of the screw housing. These analog watches have three needles, with a hacking function for the second needle, and a date display.
Mechanical watches Edifice of Casio are resistant to magnetism and water up to 100 m. They have a housing and a stainless steel bracelet. They measure 43.5 x 39 x 12.5 mm (~ 1.7 x 1.5 x 0.5 inches) and weigh 148 g (~ 5.2 oz). The other two watches in this range, the EFK100D-7A (white dial) and the EFK-100XPB-1A (carbon case and black resin bracelet), will not be marketed in the United Kingdom.
