This trapping will be completed by a preventive and targeted demoustication intervention, scheduled on the night of Monday 28 to Tuesday July 29, 2025 between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. “This operation is carried out as part of the national anti-dismissal plan of chikungunya and dengue, whose vector mosquito is the vector, in order to avoid a potential chain of transmission of the disease ”, comment on the public authorities.
The treatment will be carried out by a specialized company, from a vehicle of the pick-up type, and may be completed by a pedestrian passage, in a circle of 150 meters of radius around the place of detection of the case. The inhabitants of the area concerned were informed of the implementation of the system and the precautions to be taken by a flyer posed in their mailbox, this Friday, July 25, 2025.
The prefecture also indicates that “The products used are similar to insecticides on sale in trade and obey the usual instructions for use. It is notably recommended, at the time of spraying, to keep the doors and windows closed, to enter the animals, to cover the pools and the sandboxes and after the operation to rinse the garden furniture in the water as well as the vegetables and the fruits of the vegetable garden ”.
