On the occasion of its summer tour in Europe, the famous South Korean group of K-Pop Blackpink joined forces with PSG for a special collection made up of five articles.
This will undoubtedly speak more to Lee Kang-in than to the Lambda Parisian supporter. Always eager to associate with the most popular artists from around the world, PSG launched this week a limited collection in collaboration with BlackPink, famous South Korean women’s K-Pop women followed by 58.4 million people on Instagram (PSG A 65.2 million followers on this social network).
A group launched in 2016 and made up of four young girls who are a hit around the world and also has 98.2 million subscribers on YouTube, with several clips exceeding one billion views (for culture, we put one below). In recent months, several American sports franchises, such as the Los Angeles Lakers or the Chicago Bulls, had already associated themselves with this group.
On the occasion of the passage of BlackPink in Europe, with two concerts at the Stade de France scheduled for August 2 and 3, PSG has therefore also associated this international brand to launch two hooded sweatshirts and three t-shirts. Products available on the PSG online store here (or below). Beyond the number of sales, this collaboration seems above all to be a means for PSG to continue to develop its brand image in Asia and more particularly in South Korea, the country of its player Lee Kang-in.
