The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) is looking for a driver in connection with a collision in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, in Gaspésie, on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday.
Shortly before midnight, the SQ was called upon to intervene at the scene of an accident involving two vehicles on Boulevard Perron Est (route 132), in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, in Gaspésie.
A car and a minivonnette have come into contact violently. The smallest of the two vehicles finished its race in a ravine and its occupant had to be rescued by the firefighters.
She gets away with minor injuries and her life would not be threatened, according to spokesperson for the Béatrice Dorsainville provincial police.
The minivonnette was immobilized by rushing into equipment belonging to the municipality.

Following the impact, the person on board the van fled the place on foot.
“We are always looking for this individual. Our teams are on site to try to locate it, ”explains Béatrice Dorsainville.
A reconstructionist in accident scenes and SQ investigators were still on the scene on Wednesday morning to try to understand what could have caused the impact.
Boulevard Perron is is completely closed to traffic at rue des Chevaliers to allow them to do their work.
