Françoise Marie Anne Quoirez was born on June 21, 1935 in Cajarc. His name of Plume Françoise Sagan is a tribute to the character of Marcel Proust, the princess of Sagan. A terrible child of French literature, she is propelled to the front of the literary scene at only 18 years old with the publication of her work “Bonjour Sadresse” in 1954. This emblematic book, which then shocked manners, earned him the price of criticism this same year.
On more than five decades, she continued publications like her works “Le Garde du Coeur” in 1968, “a little sun in cold water” in 1969 or even “The Defered bed” in 1977. She did not hesitate to get out of her comfort zone while trying to other literary genres as with her play “Château en suede” in 1960.

A writer brought to the screen
The seventh art crosses the writer’s career many times. The author tried to write the scenario and the realization as evidenced by her 1977 feature film “Les Fougères Bleues” featuring Françoise Fabian.
His novels reveal themselves as wonderful scripture springs for directors. Catherine Deneuve marks all the spirits with her performance in “La Chamade” by Alain Cavalier from the book of 1965. It is in “Château en Sweden”, the adaptation of her eponymous novel by Roger Vadim that we observe in the distribution one of the rare appearances of Françoise Hardy in the cinema.
An admiration that goes beyond France since the American filmmaker Otto Preminger carries on the big screen “Hello sadness” in 1958 with a twenty-year-old Seberg Jean. Soon a new version signed Durga Chew Bose with Casting Chloe Sevigny, Claes Bang and Aliocha Schneider is expected to arrive in dark rooms. Business to follow …
