Meta Platforms started a brilliant Apple engineer by offering him a remuneration valued at more than US $ 200 million ($ 274 million CA), Bloomberg revealed.

The parent company of Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp recruited Ruoming Pang which led a team specializing in artificial intelligence models (AI) for Apple, by putting on table a generous remuneration spread over several years, confided confidential sources to the New York news agency.
According to Bloomberg, Apple did not try to match the offer that goes far beyond what is paid to the managers of the Cupertino company, with the exception of CEO Tim Cook.
Superintelligence
The remuneration offered to Mr. Pang is consistent with that paid to the other big sizes recently hired by Meta to constitute his team of “superintelligence”, maintains Bloomberg. This group seeks to develop AI systems capable of performing tasks as well as humans, even better.
Last month, Meta joined Scale AI’s co -founder services, Alexandr Wang, acquiring a 49% stake in the young shoot for US $ 14.3 billion ($ 19.6 billion CA).
