In accordance with AFSCA, Pepsico Belux withdraws the bugles (Nacho and Natural cheese), Wokkels (Paprika and Natural), Party Mix, Family Mix, Classic Mix, Mega Box and Varietybox of the Lay’s Sales and Recalls them with consumers due to the possible presence of mineral oil (Mosh and Moah).
For two days during the production process in a Pepsico factory in the Netherlands, non-food mineral oil containing Mosh and Moah mineral oils involuntarily contaminated certain products. The products in question may contain mineral oils which are not authorized within the European Union and which may present a risk to health if they are consumed regularly over a long period. As a precaution, Pepsico has decided to recall all the products listed below and asks consumers not to consume them. In Belgium, in the majority of retail, there is only a limited number of products as a precaution. This may be different from Dutch store chains Albert Heijn and Jumbo, where more products are concerned due to the supply from the Netherlands.
Under the expiration date, you will find a code. If the code starts with BV, the products come from the Belgian factory and are therefore not affected. However, if the code begins with NLB, the products come from the Netherlands and can be affected. In this case, you must check the list below.
