The Union and the Standard will compete this Saturday evening at the Duden Park. Here are the likely compositions of the two teams.
Author of a 7/9 to start the season, Standard will move to the Union Saint-Gilloise, this Saturday evening, as part of the fourth day of Pro League. A meeting for which Mircea Rednic recovers Henry Lawrence, given from his appendicitis operation, but lost Dennis Ayensa, absent until mid-September.
The defense, ahead of Matthieu Epolo, should always be occupied by Marlon Fossey and Josué Homawoo. It remains to be seen if Rednic will decide to trust Ibe Hautekiet, or to renew Daan Dierckx, and which will take place on the left side. Alexandro Calut played the start of the season, but Boli Bolingoli is back from injury.
In the midfield, the duo formed by Marco Ilaimaharitra and Casper Nielsen, which brings a lot of experience, will be renewed. To accompany them, Nayel Mehssatou could again be aligned, as against Genk, or Mircea Rednic will favor a more stable defensive base, with a player like Ibrahim Karamoko who could be privileged.
Several absent from the Union, the reunion between Ilaimaharitra and Zorgane
On the sides, Rafiki Saïd could pay his bad half against the Limburgers and get out of the eleven, for the benefit of Adnane Abid. On the other side, the brave Tobias Mohr should keep his place.
In attack, Thomas Henry will be aligned, maybe alone to start the meeting. However, it is likely, according to the scenario of the match, to see Timothé Nkada go up to the game to increase the pressure on a defense of the union which will play high and which will leave space behind its back.
On the unionist side, Henok Teklab and Kamiel Van de Perre are injured, promised David and Mohammed Fuseini too, and we must see if Vic Chambaere will keep his place in the goals. There should not be any surprise in the rest of the composition, with an Adem Zorgane who could therefore meet a certain Marco Ilaimaharitra in the midfield.
