Panic movement
“This incident triggered a panic movement and caused several seriously injured, unfortunately causing some cases of loss in human lives”said Aurélien-Simplice Kongbelet-Zingas, the Minister of Education. No more specific assessment was available Wednesday evening.

“The hospital was invaded by the population to the point of obstructing the heaigners and ambulances”, said a source at the Ministry of Health.
The three hospitals in the city welcomed the many wounded, transported by ambulance, in pick-up bins, on motorcycle taxis and sometimes even at arm’s length.
The Minister of Education assured that “Measures will be taken quickly to elucidate the circumstances of this incident.”
