On Friday, July 25, the Orange group detected a cyber attack on one of its information systems.
Immediately alerted, with the support of Orange Cyberdefense, the teams have fully mobilized to isolate the services potentially concerned and limit the impacts.
However, these isolation operations had the consequence of disturbing certain management services and platforms for part of our business customers and for some consumer services mainly in France. Our dedicated teams are fully mobilized to inform and support the customers concerned.
Our teams have identified and implemented the solutions which allow, under reinforced vigilance, to reopen the main services impacted as and when on Wednesday July 30 morning.
A complaint was filed and the competent authorities were alerted. We work with them in perfect collaboration.
At this stage of investigations, there is no element that data from our customers or orange would have been exfiltrated. The highest vigilance on this point is maintained.
For obvious reasons of Orange security will not make any more comments.
