Thirty adolescents aged 12 to 15 were excluded from the aquatic center of Mornant (Rhône) on Monday. The mayor decided to prohibit them from the entrance throughout the summer.
While the summer season had just started at the aquatic center Les Bassins de l’Aqueduc in the small town of Mornant, south of Lyon, around thirty young people aged 12 to 15 were excluded from the municipal swimming pool on Monday. “They arrived in small groups and were immediately hyperagressive, from the entrance. Then once inside, they put the brothel ”says Renaud Pfeffer, the LR mayor of the commune confirming information from Progress . Quickly the situation degenerates and the staff must call the municipal police and the gendarmerie to bring out the troublemakers. But faced with the aggressiveness of young boys, it will ultimately take the intervention of the PSIG (Peloton for surveillance and intervention of the gendarmerie) to restore order. “One of the kids threatened a gendarme with a screwdriver telling him that he was going to plant him”says the mayor.

According to the elected LR, young Monday troublemakers were arrested, a few minutes after their exclusion from the swimming pool by the police, trying to steal a scooter in the town.
