A study by researchers from the University of Oregon shows that the population of Trembri. Similarly, a kind of tree, is regenerating in Yellowstone National Park. Meanwhile, It’s unheard of for several decades!

Yellowstone is the first national park to have been created on the planet. It is mainly located in the state of Wyoming, in the United States. Completely natural, it notably houses the Grand Canyon.
With the disappearance of the wolf, the population of Wapitis exploded in Yellowstone. For years, the Wapitis have devoured and trampled on the young shoots of trembling, leaving only the old trees.
A chain reaction
30 years ago, scientists decided to release wolves at Yellowstone Park. Since then, the population of Wapitis has decreased enormously, while the trembled babies have multiplied.

Much more than a tree
The researchers expect the return of the wolf to have beneficial effects on the entire ecosystem of Yellowstone Park. Indeed. the tremble is much more than a tree: it is habitat and a source of food for many species of birds, insects and mammals.
