Who is Naomi Torrent, the inspiring Basse-Terrienne, sacred Miss Guadeloupe 2025?

The Basse-Terrienne Naomi Torrent was elected Miss Guadeloupe 2025 this Saturday, July 19. Aged 30, she will proudly represent the island in the Miss France 2026 competition. An election marked by emotion, determination and Creole elegance.

Naomi Torrent, originally from Basse-Terre, succeeded this Saturday July 19 in Moïra André, Miss Guadeloupe 2024 and third Dauphine of Miss France 2025. She thus becomes the second Basse-Terrienne to win the title after Indira Ampiot, crowned Miss Guadeloupe in 2022 then Miss France in 2023.

With this title, Naomi joins the ranks of determined women who high the colors of overseas. She is the third Miss elected overseas for the 2026 edition of the national competition. In the charts are his first runner -up Meilan Vallon Lim, then Anaëlle Salondy, Débora Manicord and finally Christina Viator. Naomi Torrent will be the guest this Sunday, July 20 of the 7:30 p.m. TV newspaper from Guadeloupe la 1ère. The entire evening is also rebroadcast from 10:20 p.m.

Aged 30 and financial analyst by profession, Naomi Torrent has a double master’s degree in management and financial engineering. His maturity and experience were major assets against other candidates, aged 18 to 33.

She hopes to follow in the footsteps of her illustrious Guadeloupe predecessors such as Clémence Botino or Corinne Coman. As a reminder, the Miss Guadeloupe committee is one of the most titled in France (the 5th).
