Training treatment of infection at C. trachomatis or at N. gonorrhoeae In an asymptomatic person is currently suspended due to a major update. Learning objectives
- Discover the National Medical Protocol – Treatment of an infection at Chlamydia trachomatis or at Neisseria gonorrhoeae in an asymptomatic person
- Discover the optimal use guide – uncomplicated infection at Chlamydia trachomatis or at Neisseria gonorrhoeae
- Identify the recommended treatment and management of asymptomatic persons and/or their partners for whom nursing staff have the authorization to process an infection in Chlamydia trachomatis or at Neisseria gonorrhoeae
Target audience
Nursing staff authorized to prescribe in accordance with Regulation on certain professional activities which can be exercised by a nurse.
Before following this training, it is necessary beforehand:
- Have followed the “ITSS screening: act with competence, adapt the interventions” (or the equivalent);
- Having obtained your prescriber number in accordance with the requirements of the Quebec Nursing and Nurses.
Duration and educational formula
This training is of a total estimated duration of 1.5 hours. It includes:
- Part 1 – Flight to the national medical protocol – Treatment of an infection in Chlamydia trachomatis or at Neisseria gonorrhoeae (30 minutes)
- Part 2 – Overview of the optimal use guide – uncomplicated infection Chlamydia trachomatis or at Neisseria gonorrhoeae (30 minutes)
- Part 3 – Siege (20 minutes)
- Evaluation and testimony form of participation (10 minutes)
