A powerful Commission of the American Congress, with a republican majority, announced Tuesday that he had assigned the ex-president Bill Clinton and his wife, the former head of diplomacy Hillary Clinton, as part of his parliamentary investigation into the case of sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
While Donald Trump has been accused for several weeks, even in his electoral basis, of lack of transparency in the file of this financier who died in prison before his trial for sexual crimes, the republican official James Comer declared that he had summoned the former president on October 14, and the former head of American diplomacy on October 9, to answer their links with Jeffrey Epstein.
Six ex-ministers of justice as well as two former leaders of the Federal Police, the FBI, were also assigned to appear for hearings going from mid-August to mid-October on the course of the judicial investigation into the financier.
“By your own admission, you have traveled aboard the private plane of Jeffrey Epstein four times in 2002 and 2003,” said the letter addressed to Bill Clinton by James Comer, head of the powerful supervision parliamentary commission.
Solicited by AFP, the services of the former 78 -year -old Democratic president did not respond immediately.
Regarding Hillary Clinton, who was a 2016 Democratic candidate for the 2016 presidential election, won by Donald Trump, the elected official explains: “Your family seems to have had close links with both Jeffrey Epstein and his accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell”, sentenced to 20 years in prison for sexual exploitation.

For the moment, we do not know if the Clinton couple will comply with this assignment, highly unusual in the United States.
Among the personalities summoned, notably is James Comey, former FBI chief between 2013 and 2017 and who became bane of Donald Trump, who described him as “scoundrel” for his role in the investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.
The death of Jeffrey Epstein, found hanged in his cell in New York on August 10, 2019 before his trial for sexual crimes, fueled countless conspiracy theories that he was murdered to suffocate a stripping scandal of leading personalities.
Donald Trump, who during his campaign promised his basis of shattering revelations on this file, undergoes a return of flame, including among his most fervent supporters, after his government announced in early July not having discovered any new element which would justify the publication of additional documents.

Number two of the Ministry of Justice, Todd Blanche, former personal lawyer for Donald Trump, notably met Ghislaine Maxwell at the end of July in a Florida court, in order to question him for a day and a half.
The former New York worldly was then transferred to a prison with less strict conditions of detention in Texas, a decision criticized by the Democrats who accused the Trump administration of granting favors to the one who was sentenced to sexual exploitation.

He also tried to redirect public attention by targeting his Democratic predecessor Barack Obama, accused by the White House of having orchestrated the accusations of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

He said in late July that the dispute concerned employees of his Mar-A-Lago club, Florida, which Jeffrey Epstein would have “taken”.
The White House so far assured that Donald Trump had hunted the financier of his club about twenty years ago, after being very close, for having “behaved like a twisted”.
In mid-July, the Wall Street Journal had also reported a health letter attributed to Donald Trump for Jeffrey Epstein in 2003 for the 50th anniversary of the financier. The billionaire denies being the author and continued the daily defamation, demanding several billion dollars.
