A recent ranking of Forbes magazine, unveiled on Tuesday, place Laval University good first in Canada as the best employer for organizational culture in 2025.
The inaugural edition of this ranking, announced today, recognizes 200 companies, universities and organizations from all sectors that have shown exceptional performance by promoting solid and positive work environments.
“Receiving this prestigious recognition is a source of great pride for our university community. I am witness every day: there is a sincere commitment to the mission and vision of the Laval University within the members of our staff. People are mobilized and seek to work together to have a greater impact, ”said Sophie d’Amours, rector of Laval University, by press release.
According to her, this first place in the ranking testifies to the strong feeling of belonging that emanates from the community and of a widespread adhesion to the values of the university.

- Oak Valley Health (Oakville)
- Humber College (Toronto)

- Microsoft (Redmond, is.u.)
- Automatic Data Processing (Roseland, É.U.)
- Concordia University (Montréal)
