Monday will be hot for several regions of Quebec. But this well -felt warmth also comes with strong humidity and instability that can cause violent thunderstorms. Find out what is waiting for you on the weather side for this first day of the week.

Warm Monday
Feeling (humidx) in addition 35 are expected, especially in Gatineau, where it could reach 38. A special meteorological bulletin concerning this heat is also in force for the day on Monday, until Tuesday morning.
This heat will be more concentrated in southern Quebec, but regions in the center and north of Quebec will also be entitled to rather hot temperatures and feelings.
The scenario is however different for Sept-Îles, Rimouski and Gaspé. For these sectors, we note that the gap between the temperature and the feeling is smaller, even non -existent. The temperatures are also cooler: we only wait 16 degrees (and 16 in feeling) this Monday in Sept-Îles.
Good to know: humidx (or felt) is a felt temperature indication that combines heat and humidity. The greater the humidity, the greater the humidx, because the human body will have difficulty evacuating its heat. This index does not have a unit.
Who says humidity says instability
We speak of an unstable air when a mass of air tends to go up or spontaneously going into the atmosphere due to the differences in temperature and density compared to its environment. “The wet air is less dense than dry air.
