“I have already done 57 days of racing (this season). I was really at the end of the cycle after the Giro, I had complicated moments with ups and downs,” said the 29 -year -old runner.
The Frenchman drew on his latest resources to shine, before giving a deserved break. “I was a little sick all week with an otitis, but since yesterday it was much better. I’m going to go on a happy vacation,” he said after his race.

Before chaining three races in August and the Quebec Cycles Prix and Montreal Grand Prix in September, Dorian Godon will “blow a good week”. The latter specifies that, despite the dead end of the Grande Boucle this year, he has “beautiful objectives”.
Also note that for the first time since 2021 and the triumph of Rémi Cavagna, the champion of France will not compete in the Tour.
